Our Concept
In collaboration with Giorgos Skouloudis from Artec Homes Ltd, Mata Mavridi, a passionate team of engineers – mechanical engineer and interior and exterior architect designer – based in Chania, had this challenging project to bring back to life those beautiful abandoned period mansions in the Old Town of Chania by converting them into boutique style accommodation. Eager to keep their old elements and character intact, they had worked cautiously in order to make the spaces comfortable, to add modern facilities as well as to enhance the charm of the houses, with one common objective: make the visitors feel home.
Starting from logo designing which is inspired by old designs from the late Renaissance, testifying the Venetian’s passage in Chania.

Fagotto Art Residences are housed in a listed Venetian building dating from 1540, built at the time to house the Venetian headquarters. Recently renovated and tastefully decorated, today operates as a charming hotel.
